Brewery Legitimus, located in New Hartford, CT is expanding and looking for an experienced full-time production & brewing assistant to join our team. The Production and Brewing Assistant will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks encompassing packaging, cleaning, and maintenance. 

This position will report directly to the Brewer. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to learn all aspects of beer production, including CIP procedures, safety, packaging, and QA/QC. A keen attention to detail, a willingness to learn, and a desire to contribute to a team environment are essential to this position.

• Assisting with brewhouse operations including wort production and cleaning and sanitization of all brewhouse equipment
• Operation and cleaning of packaging equipment and proper packaging of all products (kegging, canning, bottling)
• Perform preventative maintenance on facilities and equipment
• Keg washing
• Draft line cleaning
• Assisting with cellaring tasks including dry hopping, fruiting, etc.
• Assist with warehousing, including receiving shipments and inventorying materials
• Event assistance

• Previous experience with canning or bottling lines preferred
• Previous cellaring, manufacturing, production and/or warehousing experience is preferred
• Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment required 
• Good organizational skills

• Must be reliable and able to be flexible
• High school diploma or equivalent required
