Our growing elder law and estate planning law firm has an opening for an experienced probate and guardianship paralegal to help us draft quality documents for our cases and aid in litigation matters.

The right candidate is a team player with at least 3 years of related experience and is able to follow established office procedures so that we can assist our clients in an organized and efficient manner.

Responsibilities

  • Draft and prepare legal documents
  • E-file documents to the Court prior to their deadlines
  • Manage calendar, schedule hearings, depositions, and coordinate with Court personnel
  • Complete daily tasks and assignments independently with little supervision in a timely manner to meet all deadlines
  • Meet with clients in-person, by phone, and virtually
  • Keep track of a timesheet to ensure accurate billing
  • Be comfortable with change and have the ability to adapt as needed

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in probate and guardianship matters
  • Litigation experience is a plus
  • Hold the ability to follow established office procedures
  • Detail-oriented and client-focused
  • Associate's Degree in Paralegal Studies and/or equivalent experience

Compensation
$30,000
