We’re looking for a full-time, long-term, Practice Manager who can provide support to us as our clinic solves complicated health problems in patients who feel hopeless and overwhelmed and have yet to find a cause or cure for their symptoms.
Our mission is to help our patients regain their health and regain their lives, so they can be their most healthy, productive, satisfied, joy-filled selves. We do this by listening deeply to their health concerns, identifying and eliminating the cause using naturopathic medicine so the problem doesn’t come back, ever.
Currently, we are 100% virtual and also plan on seeing patients in-person in the upcoming year. While it’s not essential for you to be local it would be preferred for when we are in-person again.

You’ll be working closely with Dr. Karen Threlkel, a naturopathic physician, in Washington, DC. Our practice’s core values are:

- You will be an integral part of all our operations: optimize systems, oversee the patient experience, oversee employees, execute business vision, manage budget, lead daily/weekly/monthly huddles, provide daily and weekly reports for practice scorecard/metrics, manage schedule so weeks are full and look ahead to fill in any blanks, be involved with and analyze marketing efforts for what works and for what doesn’t.
- Organize and triage messages whether they come from email, the patient portal, or phone calls, keep up with organizing patient medical information, scheduling.
- Experience as a medical practice manager
- Have excellent & professional communication skills – respond professionally on the phone or emails with patients. You must be able to find solutions to help our patients and our organization.
- Be highly attentive, pro-active & resourceful – be alert and anticipate patient and staff needs. We pride ourselves on being the doctors who actually listen to patients. We expect our staff to do the same.
- Tech-savvy – you must like and be able to navigate technology
