The Post-Closing and Post-Purchase Support Specialist is responsible for all tasks after the closed loan package is returned and post-purchase from the investor. Requires a high level of partnership with various departments. Compliance with company, agency/investor guidelines and regulations are required.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for receiving completed closed packages from title companies
- Scanning all documentation into Loan Origination System (LOS)
- Forwarding all collateral to warehouse banks
- Review signed closed packages returned from title companies for missing documents and errors
- Responsible for recording deficiencies within LOS for tracking/reporting
- Pre-Post Close audit of closed loan files
- Responsible for obtaining missing or corrected documents
- Apply first payment dates due investor daily
- Transfer of MERS to the new servicer within 48 hours of purchase
- Balance escrows in servicing section of LOS, researching any discrepancies
- Work closely with all departments and investors for any shortage of payments
- Processing Goodbye Letters within 48 hours of purchase
- Processing Insurance Letters within 48 hours of purchase
- Monitoring reports to determine if first payment is due Ross and communicate with consumer advising of payment due
- Monitor first payments due Ross daily and follow up with consumer if payment is not made
- Upload purchase advices within LOS daily
- Maintain all disbursements for any loan Ross services

- Assist post-closers and accounting with tax payments, disbursements, and balancing with the LOS as needed
- Ensure compliance with all agencies, investors, state/federal regulations, and company policies
- Provide support to all partners to achieve the goal of an unparalleled customer experience
- Support culture-related initiatives
- Other duties as assigned by management based on business need

Qualifications
- Strong time management and organization skills
- Effective problem-solving skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Mortgage experience preferred
- High School Diploma required
Compensation
$28,000 - $32,000
