Vidya Brands Group is hiring for a Plant Manager to lead our Jonesburg paper converting plant within our Dedicated Converting Group company. This position will be highly visible, reporting directly to the COO. We are looking for a motivated individual who is ready to learn our equipment and processes as well as coach and build a solid team. Plant Managers within the Vidya Brands Group family are responsible for ensuring overall production and efficiency at the location they manage. This is a small plant, but Vidya continues to grow, so this position would be great for anyone ready to make that next step and grow within the company.
- Ensure plant production
- Oversee equipment maintenance and repairs
- Hire, develop, and decide on plant employees
- Ensure plant safety
- Work to create plant efficiencies
- Work with COO on any plant changes, improvements, or additions
- Plant scheduling
- Procurement of materials
- Oversee plant organization, inventory management, and cleanliness
- Adhere to and monitor quality standards
- Oversee shipping and receiving
- Ability to understand equipment and machine outputs
- Ability to know what right looks like in a plant setting as it relates to quality, safety, and overall production
- Strong communication skills
- Experience with paper converting a plus
- 2 years management experience preferred
