We're hiring a full-time pest control service technician to help our customers get rid of unwanted visitors! You'll identify red flags that signal the presence of an infestation, decide on the appropriate treatment, and safely administer the appropriate tactics to eradicate pests and keep them from coming back. • Comply with all safety guidelines by wearing protective equipment and following the instructions for each pest control product
• Work with staff in the pest control office to arrange appointments with customers
• Disperse the fumigants in infested areas when needed
• Assess customer property to identify warning signs of potential pest problems, such as termites, bed bugs, vermin, rodents, or other unwanted pests
• Measure area dimensions and mix the correct amount of chemicals in the applicator based on the size of the infested area

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Good customer service skills
• Able to work with different types of critters, including rodents, termites, bed bugs, and more
• Great communication skills, both verbal and written
• Possesses a pest control license from the Department of Agriculture

• Must have or have passed the exam for the Massachusetts pesticide applicator license
• Work around insects, rodents, wildlife, and unsanitary conditions
• Must be able to use a ladder and work at heights
• Must be able to work in confined spaces
• Must be able to stand for prolonged periods
• Must be able to use a smartphone
• Must be able to use computer, navigate internet browsers, email, and word processing software
• Must be professional in appearance
• Must be able to adapt to change in a fast-paced environment
• Must be teachable and trainable
