- Resolve billing, policy change, coverage, and insurance claims issues using exemplary customer service skills
- Review insurance policies for accuracy, coverage, and limits in order to recommend modifications, as needed
- Identify and secure new business through creative sales tactics, including networking and cold calling
- Compose tailored policy options, quotes, and educational materials to prospective and existing insurance clients
- Facilitate sales by keeping accurate records of personal information of prospects and customers within insurance company databases
- Stellar verbal and written communications skills mandatory
- Must be an effective collaborator who takes a goal-oriented approach to sales
- Must hold a valid, state-issued insurance license(s): Property and Casualty Insurance License and/or Life and Health Insurance License
- In-depth knowledge of available insurance policies and insurance coverage offerings along with their key differentiators
- Previous experience in the insurance industry as an insurance producer for personal lines
