Knowledge of Colorado and Federal Rules of Procedure, experience in summarizing medical records, calendaring, deadline, and task management, preparing cases for mediation and trial, assist in drafting discovery requests and responses, court pleadings, trial preparation, and witness scheduling, e-filing with state and federal courts, and initial case intake and evaluation, are important skills that will separate individual candidates from the competition. Extremely strong organizational skills, attention to detail, strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to self-prioritize time and tasks, and to complete work independently with oversight are a must.
