The event host is responsible for assisting parents/guardians, children, and guests for the duration of the assigned birthday party; maintaining control of the party at all times; setting up and cleaning birthday party tables, supervising children during the party at all times; and performing other duties as assigned by management. We also host off-site events at school, church, and corporate parties which include supervising inflatables and ensuring safety measures are followed, as well as making concessions such as cotton candy, popcorn ect. Must have an energetic, outgoing personality and be able to get along with a variety of personalities. Applicants must work well with others and excel in a team-oriented environment. The ability to multi-task is essential and must be able to weekends. We are a small family-owned business that loves delivering fun to the birthday children and making the parent's life a little easier by having the parties set up for them upon arrival. Salary: $9.50 - $12.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 5 to 8-hour shifts
• Evening Shift
• Weekend and some holiday availability

Work Location: Centrally located in Boardman, Ohio, opportunity to work off-site events as needed, for schools, churches, and community events. Opportunity for advancement to lead party host, after a 60-day period at management discretion.

• Must be able to work on weekends during the busy season. If you cannot work weekends, need not apply. Saturday from 10 am to 8 pm and Sunday from 10 am to 7 pm
• Flexible scheduling available
• Must be willing to work holidays during the summer, i.e. Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Must be able to pass a drug screen
• Must be able to proficiently operate a computer the ability to learn rental software
• Daycare, early childhood, receptionist experience preferred, although not required
• Delivering an experience to the child who is celebrating a birthday with us
• Singing Happy Birthday and cutting/serving cake or cupcakes
• Setting up the party room and resetting between parties
• Cleaning and sanitizing at the end of the day
