The partnerships program at WizeHire plays a key role in customer acquisition and satisfaction. As a Partner Manager, you have the exciting opportunity to recruit, support, and grow relationships with some of the most innovative and trusted small business coaches and consultants. 

Joining the small but mighty Partnerships team at WizeHire means you will play a central role in delivering an amazing partner experience. This is a developing role that will allow you to exercise your sales and relationship management skills while thinking creatively about new problems. Expect to roll up your sleeves to execute your ideas, experiment with new processes, and collaborate across departments as you go.

The ability to identify opportunities, prioritize your time, and build relationships is essential. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated ability to think strategically, communicate clearly, and interact with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Becoming an expert in your partners’ needs and supporting them with their goals
  • Growing and managing a pipeline of leads that convert into successful new partnerships
  • Building sales and account management processes to make your job more efficient over time
  • Communicating with your partners and problem solving for them
  • Evaluating your portfolio to spot opportunities for development
  • Identifying areas to enhance how we onboard, train, and engage our partners
  • Contributing your knowledge of your partners to broader team projects
  • Experimenting with new approaches and sharing your learnings
  • Collaborating with the partnerships team to meet our team goals

Qualifications

  • You have some years of experience in sales, business development, account management, or a similar role
  • You relish the idea of speaking often with our partners to build lasting relationships 
  • You have a can-do attitude; willingness to admit mistakes and work to remedy them
  • You’re solid at time management and can prioritize a variety of relationships and tasks
  • You’re enthusiastic about seeing your ideas through from concept to completion 
  • You’re motivated by achieving goals and hitting targets
  • You’re a team player that believes success is gained through collaboration

Extra points if you:

  • Have worked in a partnerships role before
  • Have worked in a customer success role before
  • Can demonstrate success in outbound sales, ideally at a SaaS company
  • Are familiar with small business consultants and coaching organizations
