Our family is searching for a private IN-HOME home school teacher for our two children, ages 10 and 12. We value education and believe that a solid foundation in learning is crucial to our children's success in life. We are excited to provide them with the opportunity to advance their education and achieve their academic goals with the help of a qualified private teacher who can provide personalized attention and instruction in the comfort of our own home.

Work Location will be in our private and secured home. We take the safety and well-being of our family and our hired teacher very seriously. Our 2 daughters are bright, curious, and eager to learn, and we are seeking an outgoing, fun teacher who can challenge them academically while also fostering their love of learning.

Type of work: Part Time (25-30 hours a week)

Work Hours: 

• 9:30 am-2:30 pm (but also very flexible- if you can get more done in less time we are ok with that)

Compensation: $38,000 to $45,000 per year /Part-time

We are looking for an experienced, knowledgeable, and local person who is passionate about education.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced private home teacher to provide homeschooling education for two children, aged 10 and 12.

In this position, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a customized education plan that caters to the unique learning needs and abilities of each child, helping them to excel beyond the standard curriculum of their peers.

We require an applicant with a strong background in teaching, who possesses excellent communication and teaching skills. The ideal candidate will have experience in homeschooling or private tutoring and should be knowledgeable in subjects required by the children's curriculum, including mathematics, science, language arts, and social studies (we are open to curriculum ideas if there is one you know well).

As the private home teacher, you will be responsible for planning lessons, developing a curriculum, grading assignments, and keeping records of the children's progress. Moreover, you will provide a safe and nurturing learning environment that encourages critical thinking, creativity, and a love for learning.

We are looking for someone who can work independently while also maintaining positive relationships with both the children and their parents. You must be open to feedback and collaboration as we strive to provide the best possible education for these children.

This is a part-time position, with working hours from 9:30 am to 2:30 pm, Monday to Friday (we are very flexible) beginning at the end of October. The position requires on-site teaching, but have flexibilty and some remote work is an option and occasionally encouraged as we travel. Our focus is not just to follow a set agenda but to challenge the children to excel far beyond the standard curriculum of their peers. • US Work Authorization
• Teaching Experience
• Degree in Education or a related field
• Ability to establish and maintain effective communication with parents
• Experience in developing lesson plans and teaching strategies to meet different learning styles
• Valid Arizona Teaching Certificate.
• Arizona Department of Education Certification (preferred) or,
• Highly Qualified through AEPA/NES testing or equivalent
• Current Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
• previous experience as a teacher/tutor is preferred
