Local boutique Law firm in Spokane with a growing practice has an opening for an energetic and hardworking Paralegal with experience in Estate Planning, Probate and Elder Law.

We are looking for an organized person who has a strong work ethic and exceptional problem-solving skills, with a minimum of two years of experience. Applicants should show a willingness to work hard, must have the ability to multi-task effectively and have the ability to work with difficult people or people under great stress. Strong attention to detail, punctual and work effectively with little supervision and have a positive attitude. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are essential.


Essential Functions:

  • Schedule to meet with potential clients, uncovering and asking questions that qualify them for services
  • Maintain relationships with existing clients while working on files
  • Ability to work on Estate Planning, Estate Administration or Long-Term Care Planning cases.
  • Ability to work with matrix partners and local, state and federal agencies with accuracy and diplomacy

  • Solid computer skills, including MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Excellent professional demeanor and presentation
  • Empathetic communication skills with positive attitude
  • Enjoys being part of a great team of caring individuals

  • Minimum of two years experience as a paralegal
  • Ability to multi-task and handle stress effectively
  • Excellent client relations and the ability to have empathy and understanding for clients in duress or under extreme stress
  • Must possess a positive, calm and team-work oriented demeanor
