You’ll be responsible for helping our firm serve our clients, managing office correspondence, including answering phone calls and emails, prepare legal documents from forms, and build and maintain effective communication with the firm’s clients and others. You should be able to communicate effectively and clearly, draft legal documents with high attention to detail, and be energized by getting results. Responsibilities
  • Take care of administrative tasks and office correspondence by answering phone calls and emails, communicating with opposing attorney offices, taking dictation, and informing the team of upcoming deadlines
  • Undertake other duties as needed to ensure the firm operates efficiently

  • Interact with clients and builds relationships with them by phone, email and in person advocating internally for the client and strengthening the relationship between the client and the firm
  • Set and adhere to internal case timelines to ensure progress on case is being made
  • Interacts with the courts and administrative agencies regarding filings, hearings, motions, and other appearances as well as managing external case deadlines
  • Draft correspondence and/or form-based pleadings or motions ensuring accuracy by proofreading your work as well as others in the firm
  • Preparing and sending correspondence as directed by attorneys
  • Organize and maintain case files, paper and electronic, as well as ensuring the attorney has all necessary documents in advance for scheduled appointments
  • Use daily time records to properly process client billing

Qualifications
  • Must be able to prioritize tasks with demanding deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Some college is preferred; high school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Candidates should have strong organizational skills and communication skills
  • Some knowledge of legal software, case management, and docketing programs

Compensation
$32,500 - $37,500 yearly
