The Opportunity

This is a great opportunity for someone who is friendly, enjoys working with others, and who wishes to work in an office where everyone feels connected to each other in providing our services to clients who appreciate us, and where there is limited bureaucracy. Our paralegal will work closely with the firm’s owner and the estate planning team’s legal assistant and will have regular contact with clients. 

Compensation: $26 - $29 hourly (plus PTO and Benefits)


Our ideal candidate will be an experienced estate planning paralegal with at least 3 years’ prior experience. In this position you will:

  • Coordinate with the team on the production of estate and probate documents
  • Proofread and edit estate planning and other related documents
  • Manage probate engagements and assist Personal Representative/Executor
  • Help manage the workflow of the work
  • Help manage client intake and calendaring
  • Assist others with ancillary communications related to the estate planning and probate services offered to our clients
  • Collaborate with and help other professionals and the team
  • Communicate and daily interactions with clients by telephone, email, and in-person contact
  • Participate as a member of the office-wide team
  • Provide general office support to others as needed

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Paralegal Certificate from an Accredited Institution
  • Experience with drafting estate and probate documents and statutory forms
  • Experience working with Microsoft 365 (and Microsoft Teams a plus)
  • Experience with federal and estate tax return preparation a plus
