A privately owned, successful real estate investment firm is looking for a sales representative with B2C experience. 

The right candidate for this position will have a proven track record of success selling in a competitive, short sales cycle, high-dollar environment. Must be comfortable negotiating in the $20,000 to $750,000 range, selling consultatively (through information gathering), and be able to work effectively with little supervision after being fully trained. Must be hungry and driven. With this position most leads and sales appointments are provided, and self-generated lead sales receive increased commission percentages. Mostly, we are looking for someone that wants to spend their time selling, not prospecting.

We do not condone or support old-school, manipulative, high-pressure sales tactics. 

We are an extremely interdependent team, we have a local office but have the flexibility to work remotely much of the time, all while maintaining a family atmosphere. In our industry, this position is called an Acquisitions Manager; AM’s are the face of the company and the solution provider to our customers.  This is a core position in our company and we are looking for the best candidates that can follow this application process without being reminded of a necessary step.

What’s the Compensation?

This is a commission-based position where your effort is rewarded very well; typically Acquisition Managers enjoy $50,000.00 to $100,000 or more annually depending on the individual’s experience, skillset, and ability.

  • Manage inbound calls, texts, and webform submissions and follow up within 5 minutes.
  • Ability to manage a pipeline of prospects/leads and follow up with clients effectively.
  • Build rapport with and be a trusted resource with our customers.
  • Identify all thein the sales process.
  • Complete due-diligence, prepare, and research before showing up to an appointment.
  • Share accurate property value details with clients before and after enhancements. Visit the property; identify the client’s motivation and what their price point is and how they came up with it. Completely understand the purpose of sale or purchase of a property. Identify time limitations of sale or move.
  • Determine clients’ needs and financial abilities and propose solutions to suit their needs.
  • the property, identify repairs, take pictures. Schedule and conduct sales showings of properties. Negotiate optimal terms and structure deals with the buyers.
  • Negotiate with agents and buyers to obtain the highest and best offer. Communicate effectively with the seller, buyer, and allWork with the transaction coordinator to ensure timely closings. Successfully close escrow.


Here are the traits/requirements we expect in an Acquisitions Manager:

  • Must have a great attitude and be coachable.
  • Must have strong communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Minimum 2 years of relatable business and/or sales experience (with a proven track record).
  • Must be extremely organized and detail-oriented.
  • Must be ambitious! We’re looking for a real “Go-Getter” that wants to serve and add value.
  • Must be a great manager of time, and be able to work autonomously from home and in our office.
  • Must be a “People Person”.
  • Must be tech-savvy and familiar with online apps/tools such as Google Drive, Dropbox, CRM (Podio), Microsoft Office, Smartphones, Social Media, etc.
  • Must live in the Greater Richmond Virginia area.
