We’re seeking an outside sales representative to identify new target buyers and upsell to current customers to achieve sales goals. The ideal candidate is a service-oriented outside sales expert that can prospect, present, and close deals efficiently. Responsibilities
- Close the deal after creating, presenting, and negotiating a solution to your prospects
- Move your sales leads and deals through the sales pipeline efficiently while consistently adding new target buyers into the funnel
- Create a competitive analysis, identify industry and product trends, and position our brand as the clear and obvious choice
- Qualify prospective customers quickly by fact-finding to identify decision-makers, pain points, competition, budget, timeline, and other potential obstacles
- Initiate outgoing cold calling and emailing to potential customers, schedule in-person sales appointments, and follow up on client requests for information
Qualifications
- Team-focused, organized, self-starter with an orientation towards service, detail, problem-solving, and deadlines
- At least 2 years of outside sales experience preferred
- You love talking and meeting with prospects, presenting to them, closing the deal, and asking for referrals
- Ability to meet and exceed monthly quota in sales
- High school or equivalent diploma required; industry or product knowledge preferred
Compensation
$65,000 - $85,000 yearly

We provide a mechanism for the Manufacturer to reach and service approximately 30,000 machine shops, defense contractors, and other metalworking manufacturers found in its geographical area. Working multiple lines with a concentrated group of Industrial Distributors and their combined 200 salespersons, ensuring your product will reach your potential customers. A great deal of time is spent with the end-user who provides the ultimate demand for the product and assures customer continuity in the event of any future individual distributor difficulty.
