We're a world-class Real Estate team looking to add an exceptional salesperson or two to the team. Quite frankly, we've got more leads coming in than we can handle on a daily basis right now. 

We're a different kind of team here. Less corporate speak, more to the point. We want someone who fits in with a small office like that. 

You'd be spending most of your in-office time acting as the top level of the funnel. Qualifying incoming leads before handing them over to one of our licensed team members or agents. 

Basically, we're paying you to talk to people and get to know them a bit. You're not pushing them to list or buy, the "sales" part of our title is because we mainly know salespeople know how to get to know a potential client. That's what we need.

What we'll provide that talent: 


1. A world-class team with quality leads. You can verify this by looking us up on Zillow or the MLS. We're a top 1% John L. Scott team. Fancy award and everything. 

2. Extensive training. Between Ken for Real Estate, Marie for organization, Zach for Marketing & Tech, etc. You'll be getting a LOT of paid quality training for free on top of ALWAYS having them available as a resource for you. We're a team, and we're gonna act like one. 

Responsibilities

  • Following up with new inquiries as they come in in a timely manner. In Real Estate, the first shot gets the client a very high amount of the time. You're here to make sure we're first in the door. You're not closing them but, you're holding the door open for us. 
  • Taking detailed notes as you talk. This is a write and talk at the same time position. Don't worry, we'll get you a good headset and plenty of writing materials (Or, you can type them if you prefer) Those notes are the basis for the other team members first contact with warm or hot leads. Brings us to our next point...
  • Keeping incoming leads interested and on the line for live transfers. This isn't an exact science but, our best leads are the ones we don't let have a chance to leave. If they have to answer the 2nd call, our odds of getting them go down a lot. 
  • Participating in office banter. Seriously, it's a pretty relaxed atmosphere nearly all of the time. It'll ebb and flow but, it's likely a different environment than you're accustomed to in the working world. 





Qualifications

  • NOT PHONE SHY. We cannot stress this enough. We need someone who can handle calling a LOT of people on the busy lead flow days. These aren't cold leads. All of them are either inquiring about their home or had their home listed recently. 
  • Good writing skills. As it relates to the detailed notes bit above, they've gotta be legible, understandable, and detailed. 
  • Sales skills. While you're not closing the clients for us, you'll have to be good enough at talking to them and selling the company to keep them interested enough for a live transfer or, to answer a callback/email/text
  • NOT REQUIRED - But, if you've got a Real Estate license here in Washington, that'll give you a head start and some potential future opportunities.

We are a real estate team which consists of three individuals. We work for John L Scott Kent North in Kent. This is the number one real estate office in Washington state currently. I first started with this office in 1986 and have worked for two other companies in the 31 years I've been in real estate.

We have one of the top three teams in this office and expect to grow well beyond where we're at now. We are professionally coached and believe in ongoing education and training. This is the type of service we strive to provide and we draw great satisfaction from the work we do for our customers.

Ken and Marie met in the real estate office in 1987 and were married in 1988. We have been a team ever since. Our team consists of Marie, transaction manager, Ken, Team leader, Zachery, Marketing Director & Agent Manager, and Denise, Buyers Agent.
