This person is the tie-breaker for the leadership team, is the glue for the organization, holds everything together, beats the drum (provides cadence), is accountable for the P&L results, executes the business plan, holds the leadership team accountable, and is the steady force in the organization.

A successful Operations Manager has the skill set to rise above all the moving parts, take a high-level view of the company, and establish processes and structure. This involves reducing complexity, creating accountability, being able to systemize, simplify, and apply technology to the company’s processes—all while remaining consistent.

Compensation: $60,000/Annually + Bonus

  • Executes the business plan, achieving or exceeding planned P&L objectives.
  • Leads, manages, and holds the leadership team accountable for achieving agreed-upon commitments. (Helps to remove obstacles and barriers)
  • Integrates all day-to-day major operating tasks and functions of the business. Ensures everyone is growing together in the same direction. Models the way, always working toward the greater good of the business.
  • Prepares presentations and reports by collecting and analyzing information.
  • Resolves issues effectively- seeing real problems, being comfortable with conflict, calling out the problems, and solving the problems in a practical and healthy manner
  • Effectively collaborates with the Visionary and stays on the same page. Maintains a high level of mutual respect with the Visionary. Realizes the unique contributions and ideas that the Visionary has, and possesses an ability to filter and translate those ideas into functional plans for the company.
  • Confirms that all key messages are properly and consistently cascaded across the organization. Inherently ensures that everyone is in the know. Verifies that a high level of effective communication exists throughout the organization.
  • Creates organizational clarity, communication, and consistency.
