SP Distribution is a young and successful distribution company of juvenile products and we are looking for an enthusiastic and professional Operations Coordinator to help with the company's day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will help assure smooth and efficient running of all operational aspects and must possess strong interpersonal skills, be goal and detail-oriented. The ideal candidate will work within a team setting and will work closely with the Operations Manager.

The Operations Coordinator will help execute the order to the delivery process, order management, and shipping operations. In delivering on the above, the Operations Coordinator helps manage external communication with clients and internal communications with internal parties such as customer service, logistics, sales, planning, credit, IT, and marketing.


  • Supporting the order process from order creation to invoicing.
  • Ensuring the best service level from receipt of orders for processing, allocation, to troubleshooting needed after receipt of deliveries to customers, maintaining a high level of confidentiality while developing strong relationships with customers.
  • Tracking past and future orders, updating all the account managers, customers, and business planners.
  • Working closely with the inside sales team and sales representatives to understand customers’ needs, order history, customer order progress, complaints, pricing changes, and account status.
  • Monitoring the status of orders portfolio and reviewing inventory levels in order to ensure all backorders are properly fulfilled or allocated for upcoming needs to meet on-time delivery.
  • Help coordinate the company’s daily domestic shipping operations ensuring timely deliveries and avoiding cost overruns.
  • Helping with the fulfillment of B2B and B2C orders nationwide, including EDI operations.
  • Helping with all warehouse operations including stock management and operational efficiency.
  • Help analyze operational costs and devise strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Interacting daily with the company’s customers.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field.
  • 3+ years related work experience.
  • Strong customer focus.
  • Organized and analytical.
  • Excellent English reading and writing skills are a must.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong PC skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Innovative thinking.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work well with all levels of internal leadership and staff. You are always willing to give a hand to your co-workers.
  • Hands-on experience with NetSuite and EDI knowledge is a very big plus.
  • Must be a US citizen or permanent resident of the US.
