With an exciting new model of glamping, Asheville River Cabins offers a mix of new Cabins, Renovated Airstreams, and historic Cabins along the French Broad River. Housekeepers will work to prepare the property for opening and keep it running successfully throughout the years ahead. This is a hands-on position. Candidates can expect to work both indoors and outdoors to clean and set up the property for a successful opening. A successful candidate will play a key role in establishing the procedures and work spaces for this exciting new style of property. Once the property has opened the team will transition to a more traditional housekeeping role stocking housekeeping kits, replacing bed linens, cleaning, and restocking guest rooms. This position requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work without constant direct supervision.

• Clean and arrange hotel rooms in accordance with our hotel’s standards prior to guest arrival
• Make beds, strip sheets, stock rooms with toiletries, do laundry, vacuum, mop, and perform other cleaning duties as needed
• Reply to general questions guests have during their stay
• Document rooms cleaned, and report lost and found items and any damage or repairs needed

• Maintain common spaces including exterior spaces, staff lounge, and public restroom
• Prepare units for opening by stocking amenities and assisting in the initial setup

• Hard worker with strong time management, organizational, and communication skills
• Graduated high school, received G.E.D or equivalent
• At least 1 year of experience as a professional housekeeper preferred
• Experience with a variety of cleaning products and techniques

• Experience as a professional housekeeper or similar position
