A Onsite Construction Supervisor is a person who has the overall responsibility for the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closure of a project.

  • Salary position commensurate with experience
  • First three months of employment is a probationary period whereby, if kept on after the probationary period, an immediate 5% raise is given

Work Hours

  • Monday through Friday work week, with the occasional Saturday work necessary
  • Overnight travel required occasionally
  • General work hours are 5:30 am to 4:00 pm through Spring and Summer and 7:00 am to 5:00 pm in Winter depending on workload


  • Managing schedule week to week
  • Managing people per project - making the decision of what manpower will be required on what project
  • Managing tools/machines/materials - Making sure the right tool/materials are available at that time for the project
  • Managing all material deliveries for each project
  • Managing all project work orders
  • Checking work orders daily for input info and pictures - includes having all work orders ready for the end of the week if they are completed
  • Managing office supplies/inventory sheets- making sure employees are completing sign-in/out on tools and supplies 
  • Managing truck safety checks daily
  • Managing truck maintenance schedule - inspecting the cleanliness/organization of trucks each Friday
  • Create expense reports for each project
  • Managing communication with salespeople for scheduling and status of the project - see project manager’s checklist for each project for details
  • Perform other duties as assigned


  • High school diploma or higher education
  • Prior 5+ years of Project Management experience in construction, landscape, or similar industry
  • Prior experience managing people effectively
  • Knowledgeable about pesticides, spraying equipment, and pest identification
  • Mechanically inclined – equipment maintenance and field repairs
  • Practices personal accountability, integrity, and honesty at all times, in everything
  • Ability to work in extreme conditions – around water (swimming ability required), hot and cold weather conditions, ability to lift 100 pounds
  • Equipment aptitudes – ability to learn and navigate large trucks (no CDL required) and trailers, boats, and other equipment while multitasking
  • Computer skills – iPad, iPhone, Mac computers, MS Outlook, MS Excel, Evernote, internet browsers

$35,000 - $45,000 yearly DOE

The scope of specialties includes the physical, biological and chemical components of surface water. The firm is growing year over year with a diversity of projects that include design, permitting, construction, renovation, and management of surface waters. We service engineering firms, environmental consultants, government agencies, private landowners, real estate developers, and more. We are currently hiring several positions to keep pace with our growing firm.
