You are an energetic, detail-oriented taskmaster who thrives on organization and getting things done! We are a growing real estate brokerage in Silver Spring, MD seeking a talented candidate to fill our part-time onsite Bookkeeper position. We are looking for someone with a basic accounting background to assist with daily Quickbooks accounting entries and general accounting support (est. 10-15 hrs/week).

Flexible hours and competitive hourly rate offered as well as a work-hard, play hard, fun team atmosphere! 


  • Be in the office for a couple hours at least 4 days/week to process daily accounting tasks
  • Manage Accounts Receivable: deposit checks, receive customer payments
  • Manage Accounts Payable: process mail, pay invoices, collect new vendor paperwork and set up new vendor accounts in Quickbooks
  • Review and code weekly credit card charges from the team, reconcile monthly statements
  • Review time sheets and process biweekly payroll
  • Reporting and miscellaneous accounting tasks 


  • Bachelor’s degree or comparable related business experience
  • Familiarity with Quickbooks accounting software 
  • Familiarity with real estate industry a plus
  • Attention to detail and ability to keep a lot of information highly organized
  • Strong computer skills (Google Suite, MS Office, etc.)

$20 - 25/hr depending on experience
