A Port St Lucie Roofing Company (confidential) is seeking an Office Support Specialist to join our team. This role will provide critical support to our HR, IT, Finance, and our marketing departments, ensuring that our company runs smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple priorities. Compensation:
- Base salary: $35,000
- Bonus Opportunities
- 2 weeks of Paid Time Off

Responsibilities
- Administer and approve weekly payroll, ensuring accurate and timely payment of all employees
- Onboard new employees into the company's PEO, ensuring that all required documentation and information is collected and processed accurately
- Implement new technology platforms into the company, working closely with the IT department to ensure successful integration and adoption
- Provide administrative support to the accountant and virtual assistant, including assistance with financial reporting and data analysis
- Oversee the work of the Marketing Virtual Assistant and Marketing company, ensuring that all projects are completed on time and to a high standard
- Coordinate with the HR department to maintain accurate employee records, benefits, and HR-related processes
- Assist in organizing company events and coordinating meetings with clients, vendors, and partners.
- Provide general administrative support as needed to other departments within the company
Qualifications
- Military experience (mission-driven) is not required but is a plus
- Bilingual in Spanish (Preferred)
- Not employed by more than 2 companies over the past 10 years
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources, marketing, or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar administrative support role
- Experience with HR processes and administration, including payroll and benefits management
- Strong technical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office and other business software
- Experience with project management and implementation of new systems and technologies
- Must love technology, with an interest in exploring new tools and finding ways to improve workflows
- Excellent complex problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex issues
- Ability to build and follow systems, with a focus on improving efficiency and effectiveness
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of initiative and follow-through
- Knowledge of accounting and financial principles is a plus
- Experience in marketing and familiarity with various marketing tools would be a plus.
Compensation
$35,000 base salary
