The firm’s founder and CEO have over 35 years of experience as a successful lawyer. Her work has garnered national media attention and multiple awards. In addition to her work as a lawyer, she owns and operates her own law firm. 

The CEO is a hard-driving perfectionist who runs at 110 miles per hour. She has an organized mind but a less organized desk.  She has trouble saying “no.” But, she is not a jerk. She is a kind and reasonable human being who works well with others. 

She is seeking a very smart and polished individual who can keep her organized and operating at peak efficiency. 

The Role:

  • Work closely with the CEO to develop and maintain a prioritized list of what she needs to accomplish in order to deliver the most important projects and tasks for continued growth and success
  • Keep distractions away, and handle and/or delegate everything that can and should be done elsewhere in the Company
  • Simply, make her look good! This means following up and responding promptly to others, ensuring balls aren't dropped, being able to communicate on behalf of the CEO, and even attending meetings in her place
  • Really enjoy accomplishing these three aspects of the role

Compensation:
This position starts at $60,000, but is negotiable based on experience and demonstrated results. The firm offers paid vacation, 401k match and other benefits, partially remote work, and a great team of A+ Professionals.

Responsibilities

Some Included Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the calendar
  • Schedule meetings, calls, Zoom, lunches, and other matters
  • Ensure that materials are gathered in advance of the meeting so that whatever is needed is provided
  • Maintain minutes of meetings and follow up with others in the meeting with a wrap-up of “who is doing what by when” and report back concerning anything that hasn’t been performed on time
  • Manage the e-mail… sort, prioritize, handle what you can, and boil it down to the most important while also ensuring that nothing gets overlooked
  • Keep things organized so that things can easily be found
  • Triage requests from staff and others concerning the need for access and use of judgment to triage and schedule calls or meetings.Arrange and schedule meetings, events, lunches, personal appointments, and travel
  • Assist with the execution of the Strategic Plan by tracking tasks, following up on assigned tasks, keeping track of progress on specific strategic goals, and coordinating with other members of the “Executive Leadership Team” to ensure they are completing their reports
  • Coordinating between the various department heads to ensure that reports are being timely prepared and delivered in a timely manner

Qualifications

  • 5 years minimum prior experience working directly for an owner/CEO
  • Bachelors Degree
  • Excellent ability to write professional correspondence
  • Excellent verbal skills
  • Good grammar
  • Must be very tech-savvy
  • Must have a polished and very professional appearance
  • Must be extremely well organized and enjoy getting and staying organized
  • Able to work independently
  • Experience managing social media campaigns a plus

Compensation
$60,000+
