We're hiring a part-time office assistant to provide extraordinary customer service. Responsibilities include answering all phone calls and emails quickly and kindly, greeting our incoming guests and making existing office systems more efficient. You’ll also support the team by assisting with planning company events and managing our office supply inventory. The part-time hours may be flexible but must fall between our core business hours of 7am - 5pm. Approximate hours per week will be 25 - 30.

Responsibilities

  • Performs clerical duties, including but no limited to, filing correspondence, placing office orders, and answering calls
  • Sorts and distributes incoming mail
  • Arranges meetings by reserving rooms and managing refreshments
  • Assists with organizing events when necessary, including holiday parties, employee recognition events, and retirement celebrations
  • Maintains front desk, greets and directs guests
  • Maintains stock of supplies by anticipating work requirements, ordering supplies, and distributing supplies where necessary to include company apparel and PPE
  • Manage office, kitchen, and janitorial supply inventory
  • Manage and prepare incoming and outgoing shipments via FedEx, UPS, and USPS

Qualifications
  • Display excellent written, problem-solving, and verbal communication skills
  • Technologically savvy; basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel programs and filing systems with the ability to learn new programs quickly and troubleshoot common issues
  • Associate's degree preferred but not required to apply
  • Prior experience in office management or our industry is a plus
  • Shows ability to quickly finish very detailed work
Compensation
$17 - $18.50 hourly
