Reporting directly to the Human Resource Manager, the Office Administrator/Receptionist is responsible for managing and distributing information within the office. This will include answering phones, maintaining files, ordering office supplies, and assisting with the setup of new employees. This role will need to have skills in technology, verbal and written communications, organizational skills, time management, strategic planning, resourcefulness, and be detail-oriented to excel in this position.

Core Functions:

  • Answer Direct Phone Calls
  • Coordinate Office Supplies
  • Maintain Key Personnel Dates
  • Assists with Events Key Tasks

Responsibilities

  • Order company-wide supplies
  • Open and distribute mail daily
  • Type letters as needed for office communication
  • Maintain office administration, such as cleanliness, organization, and supplies
  • Answer phones and manage the phone system
  • Post miscellaneous items for sale on Facebook
  • Ability to help other departments with any overflow work as needed

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • MS Office Suite skills, specifically Word and Excel
  • Team Player with a great attitude, emotional intelligence and driven to results
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and growing environment
  • Strong oral and written communication skills

 
Preferred Qualifications:

  • Some overall residential construction knowledge
  • Experience in BuilderTrend or other similar construction software
  • Experience in QuickBooks
