Position Description: 

Reporting directly to the Sales Manager, the New Home Consultant is responsible for continuously sourcing new customers, helping customers find and design their dream home, and ensuring a smooth sales process from start to finish. This individual is the first person to interact with our customers and thereby has the responsibility of creating the first initial impression. The New Home Consultant interacts with many different people within the organization and is responsible for meeting and exceeding their sales and customer services goals for their community.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities: 

  • Effectively communicate the Company’s value proposition, product vision, and capabilities to potential customers 
  • Uncover and understand customer goals and challenges then establish Gray Wolf Homes as the best solution available for their new home purchase 
  • Overcome objections and close the sale
  • Responsible for accurate documentation of the transaction from sale through loan, options, and construction, and close  
  • Oversees personal CRM database  
  • Networks and performs outreach to Realtors®
  • Manages time efficiently to meet sales and customer satisfaction goals 
  • Facilitate and attend homeowner walks (where needed) 
  • Works effectively with other members of the team
  • Maintains and continually expands the database of prospects and leads 
  • Attends bi-weekly sales meetings 
  • Conducts all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the Company 
  • Develops and maintains a good rapport with prospective customers, Realtors®, and team members 
  • Execute policies to ensure compliance with company standards 
  • Reports/presents weekly metrics
  • Demonstrate and maintain a model home to company standards (where applicable)
  • Conduct lot walks with the prospect/buyer to ensure understanding of house box, setbacks, etc.  

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Must have a valid NC Real Estate License 
  • Must have a vehicle and a valid driver’s license
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, as well as strong organizational and interpersonal skills  
  • Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining a professional attitude 
  • Must be able to deal effectively with confrontational situations and maintain objectivity with customers and homeowners 
  • Possess and exercise mature judgment 
  • Must be resourceful and present a professional public image
  • Strong work ethic; loyal; trustworthy; and being a team player is a must 
  • Works well in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Working knowledge of real estate/new construction computer applications, specifically Microsoft Office Suite and Hyphen (or other CRM/Build Management software) a plus  
  • Must be resourceful and not afraid to make decisions  
  • Diplomacy and good public presence 
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented  

 

Compensation
$60,000 - $80,000 Plus Incentives
