We are a leading nationwide coordination and management company focused on kitchen and bath counter surfacing material and installation. Our clientele is major, multi-unit retailers with locations across the United States.

As a National Account Manager, you will profitably manage the sales activities to Lowe’s corporate office for North America for all products provided within the countertop category. Accountable for achieving product placement, yearly sales targets, margins, and online activities. Work one-on-one with the merchants to implement corporate-approved pricing programs, new products, and promotional strategies. Develop account relationships with key merchants, and brand team members, installed sales personnel and other critical customer contacts. Act as the voice of assigned accounts internally for sales growth opportunities to ensure that all account needs are being addressed. As the National Account Manager, the individual will be responsible for the strategic direction and customer relationships while reporting directly to the Director of National Accounts. A well-seasoned sales executive with extensive sales experience and a proven track record of delivering results is strongly desired.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales and marketing strategy for Lowe’s that balances financial targets with cross-functional deliverables
  • Financially sound retail and promotional pricing plan (Internal and customer-facing)
  • Corporate product positioning and brand strategy
  • Act as the internal contact for the customer
  • Foster high-quality working relationships internally and externally
  • Communicate effectively. Emails are well organized and concise, with clear direction on ownership and deadlines
  • Build and deliver effective presentations tailored to the audience and objective. Including but not limited to: Product Line Reviews, Internal / External Business Reviews, Industry Trends / Market Share
  • Manage operational procedures, including new item set up and maintaining price files
  • Partner with Marketing counterparts to develop and execute a best-in-class merchandising strategy targeting differentiators and purchase drivers
  • Provide direct input on the PL for the business backed by data-driven scenarios
  • Ability to prioritize critical deliverables and exercises proper time management
  • Strong planning and organizational skills, including a demonstrated ability to be detail-oriented while managing multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced work environment

Qualifications

  • BA in Marketing, Business, or Sales Management
  • 5+ years of Sales / Marketing experience calling on or working at Lowe’s Corp
  • Experience in the cabinet or countertop category preferred
  • Highly motivated with a strong initiative and a hands-on approach to accomplishing goals
  • Demonstrated knowledge of sales process and product creation process
  • Demonstrated knowledge of National Account Sales Management, and Forecasting
  • Demonstrated understanding of margin analysis and supply chain fundamentals
  • Proven sales performer with excellent negotiation skills
  • Effective presentation skills, including a confident and positive speaking style and the ability to present (using PowerPoint and other techniques) to management, distributor principals, and dealers in a professional manner
  • Excellent written communication skills, including the ability to write in a well-organized, cohesive and concise manner
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to develop high-quality working relationships both internally and externally
  • Strong planning and organizational skills, including a demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced work environment
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptive to internal processes and change, delays, or unexpected events
  • Proficient personal computer skills, including MS Office software applications ( Word, Excel,
  • PowerPoint and database applications)
  • Ability to work extended hours and travel as required

Compensation
$75,000 - $85,000 yearly
