The MRP/ERP Data Entry Technician is responsible for interfacing with product development teams to ensure that design documentation matches our MRP system. This person will pair with teams to make sure that design changes and new product documentation is captured consistently, accurately, and quickly into our MRP system to enable our production planning teams to use consistent and completed information for production planning and delivery of product to market quickly.
- Type in data from various sources into the MRP
- Create spreadsheets with large numbers of figures without mistakes
- Verify data by comparing it to source documents
- Maintain and update existing BOMs, forms, and informational material
- Create templates and forms as needed
- Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as required
- Manufacturing experience and knowledge of manufacturing methods are required
- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints
- Must be comfortable being primarily in an office setting
- Positive and driven, excited to learn new things
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work well independently but not afraid to ask questions
- Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office 365)
- 1 Year MRP/ERP experience preferred
