The successful applicant will be responsible for managing the loan process, from origination to close, while paying close attention to compliance with current lending policies and regulations. • Work with the borrower to gather financial information such as credit reports, verify the accuracy to determine creditworthiness, and complete the mortgage loan application
• Interview prospective loan applicants and assist them in finding the best loan products for their needs
• Serve as a liaison between borrowers, mortgage brokers and loan officers, real estate agents, and mortgage lending underwriters to support loan approval
• Assemble and submit loan packages to the lender underwriters for approval or denial
• Input detailed loan process documentation in our system - from origination to close

• Mortgage lending experience and loan knowledge required, specifically with FHA, FHLB, FNMA, or VA loans
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Superb analytical skills, time management skills, and attention to detail
• 2 years minimum experience in loan processing required
• Accounting, finance, or business Associate’s degree preferred - High school diploma or GED required
