We’re hiring a loan partner who will work directly alongside our loan origination staff to help our applicants through the mortgage loan process. You’ll get applicants mortgage ready, prepare paperwork, and respond to customer inquiries on transactions as needed. Responsibilities
  • Verify all loan package documentation received is accurate and complete in accordance with company policy and procedures and report any discrepancies to the loan originator/ loan officer
  • Gather and coordinate necessary loan documentation necessary for verifications and underwriting such as loan files, loan packages, credit reports, and additional mortgage application paperwork
  • Follow up and respond to customer and in-house inquiries on transactions as needed in order to provide superior customer service

  • Structuring the loan, Run AUS, Selling the interest rate, and loan costs to borrowers
  • Facilitate the completion of loan applications, coordinate the collection of documentation, including credit reports, and send a closing cost worksheet to borrow. Complete the processing of the loan from Lead to Closing
  • Look over all loan package paperwork to check for inconsistencies, omissions, and inaccurate income calculations, and then report any errors to the loan originator/ team lead
  • Coordinate with all parties to clear loan conditions after loan approval
  • Establish and maintain relationships with referral partners and borrowers to retain existing clients and attract new business
  • Coordinate discussions between the loan officer, referral partners, and clients so they have a clear primary contact throughout the “lead to closing” phase of the loan process, and arrange meetings to ensure any follow-up actions get completed


Qualifications
  • MS Office proficiency required; some CRM, MLS, DU, and proprietary mortgage software preferred
  • Ability to effectively work in a strong team-oriented environment and provide outstanding communication and customer service to clients
  • 5+ years of professional office environment experience as a loan officer assistant or mortgage assistant preferred

  • Must be proficient in Spanish
  • Current NMLS license or must be willing to get licensed within 90 days
  • Must have current working knowledge of mortgage loan products (FHA/VA/CONV/USDA) and knowledge of mortgage procedures, processes, and documentation
  • Working knowledge of automated underwriting systems such as DU and LP
  • The ability to analyze credit reports, income, and asset documents, as well as an understanding of general ways to structure a loan
  • Must possess broker experience using loan origination software like Calyx Point
  • Excellent time management, communication, interpersonal, and follow-up skills

Compensation
$45,000 - $75,000
