  • Monitor the mortgage process to ensure all company and regulatory processes are adhered to
  • Exceed our production standards by maintaining an active pipeline
  • Communicate a thorough understanding of different loan programs and closing costs to help prospective buyers make a decision
  • Maintain and build relationships through networking and prospecting with bankers, realtors, builders, and your community to attract new business
  • Oversee all customer interactions and ensure a smooth transaction by interfacing with realtors, processors, and underwriters

  • Take inbound calls at a high volume to existing or potential homeowners who have shown interest in either refinancing or purchasing a home
  • Directly responsible for converting the company provided leads to funded mortgage loans
  • Telephone and online origination of mortgage loans through internet, direct mail campaigns, referrals and/or other marketing campaigns
  •  Provide superior customer service skills by responding to company-provided leads in an effective and timely manner
  • Structure and present multiple loan scenarios
  • Engage with consumers, determine their needs and offer the appropriate mortgage products
  • Assist processing team in obtaining necessary information to close loans in a compliant and timely manner
  •  Meet individual monthly sales goals
  • Stay informed of developing trends in the mortgage industry

  • Banking, business, real estate, or related Bachelor’s degree required
  • Exceptional decision-making ability, superior written and verbal communication skills, and superb interpersonal and customer service skills required

  • Recent origination experience in the residential mortgage industry required – NMLS Licensing
  • Experience with LOS systems, encompass experience is a plus
  • Experience with CRM’s
  • Understanding of Conventional (Fannie / Freddie) and FHA / VA guidelines
  • Knowledge of automated underwriting systems DU and LP
  • Strong telephone sales and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to connect quickly with people in an outgoing, friendly manner
  • Must possess the ability to work efficiently and accurately
  • Proven success in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be detail-oriented and demonstrate careful decision-making skills
  • Will need to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to pass a background check for state licensing
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, detail-oriented, dedicated with good follow-up skills, good listening skills, and problem-solving abilities
