Mortgage Loan Officer Assistant (Residential)
Madison Mortgage Services, Inc. is a fast-growing company looking to add a talented Mortgage Loan Officer Assistant! This will be one of the first hires made in this brand new office!
This person will provide sales support to the wonderful Loan Officers in the office and work closely with our fantastic operations team.

Job Type: Full-time
Work Location: West Harford, CT (In Office)
Schedule: Monday to Friday - 9 AM - 6 PM (1 Hour Lunch Break)

Included, but not limited to:
- Handle inbound warm leads from interested referral-based clients.
- Take applications, pull credit, and learn Madison Mortgage Services loan origination system (Encompass).
- Communicate with Loan Officers and support staff to coordinate the entire mortgage application process.
- Coordinate and prepare the documentation necessary for verifications and underwriting such as loan files, loan packages, credit reports, and additional mortgage application paperwork.
- Verify that all loan package documentation received is accurate and complete in accordance with company policy and procedures and report any discrepancies to the loan originator/loan officer.
- Handle all customer and in-house inquiries about transactions so the process is smooth, and customers receive excellent service.
- Assist with administrative duties such as making and screening calls, booking appointments, etc.
- Bachelor's Degree Preferred
- Experience in a residential mortgage environment
- Ability to wear many different hats and work in a fast-paced environment!
