*Job Description*
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Mortgage Closer and Funder to join our team. The Mortgage Closer and Funder will be responsible for coordinating and finalizing the closing process for mortgage loans. This includes reviewing loan documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance, preparing closing packages, and disbursing funds.

*Responsibilities:*
- Review loan files and loan documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
- Coordinate with loan officers, underwriters, title companies, and other parties to resolve any outstanding issues or conditions prior to closing.
- Prepare closing packages and closing instructions in accordance with loan program guidelines and investor requirements.
- Verify loan terms, fees, and disbursement instructions to ensure accuracy.
- Ensure all closing documents are properly executed and notarized.
- Review closing statements, HUD-1 Settlement Statements, and other final documents for accuracy and compliance.
- Validate funding requirements, balance funds, and prepare wire instructions for disbursement.
- Collaborate with post-closing department to ensure timely and accurate delivery of closed loan files.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of loan closings and related documentation.
- Stay informed about industry regulations, guidelines, and best practices related to mortgage closings and funding processes.
*Requirements and qualifications:*
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in finance or related field is preferable).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Fluency in English and Spanish language (written, spoken and listening).
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy and quality of work.
- Experience within the mortgage industry is desired
