Full-Time Mental Health Therapist - Lee's Summit, MO and North Kansas City, MO

Lilac Center is seeking a Licensed Therapist to join our friendly team who enjoys working in a fast-paced, professional mental health clinic providing therapy to adolescents and families.

Responsibilities include facilitating or co-facilitating individual and group sessions teaching DBT skills in our standard program or our Intensive Outpatient Program. We prefer you to have some knowledge in DBT therapy, but we will train the right person. You must be detailed oriented and have the ability to complete professional, comprehensive assessments and treatment plans in a timely manner. Supervision and support are provided weekly with opportunities for training throughout the year. EMR and digital tools are set up for an efficient and effective, smooth-running office. Full-time clinicians are provided their own furnished office ready to decorate to fit your personality.

4-Day work week schedule:

• Monday - Thursday 9:00 am - 7:00 pm

• Individual and family counseling, assessments, crisis support, consultation to professionals involved in the case, and discharge services
• The candidate must enjoy working on a professional team
• Complete timely documentation
• Attend weekly consultation groups
• Bring your own unique experiences

• Must hold a current license in MO to provide psychotherapy (e.g., LMSW, LPC or LMFT)
• Knowledge in DBT therapy. But, will train the right person
• Must be detailed oriented, complete clinical notes timely
• Some evening hours required and flex-time available 
• Be a self-starter with a willingness to learn
