Mental Health Therapist - Remote or In-Office
We are actively seeking a compassionate and energetic mental health therapist for our group practice who is committed to therapeutic excellence for our clients. You will be responsible for completing diagnostic assessments, developing customized treatment plans with goals and objectives, providing exceptional mental health services, and collaborating with clients' community partners to ensure clients are receiving excellent care. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of clinical experience working with mental health clients as well as a current BSRB license to practice in Kansas. Clinical Therapists have five main role functions:
Clinical Care: Therapists maintain a full caseload of clients
- Meet Productivity goal average weekly; 20-25 direct client hours
- Report weekly numbers in Team Lead Meeting
Accurate Record Keeping and Billing: Therapists maintain accurate records of client meetings and progress and complete same day billing for all services provided
- Complete, lock, and sign all notes by Friday at 4:45 pm
- Complete all session documentation by the end of each service day
Evidence-Based Treatment Planning: Therapists diagnose clients and develop treatment plans
- Enter diagnosis in practice by the end of the 1st session
- Complete treatment plan in practice by the end of the 2nd session
- Treatment plan due dates are tracked and discussed in weekly Team Meeting
Team Treatment: Therapists collaborate with providers for team treatment
- Attendance at monthly Team Meeting
Evidence-Based Practices and Training: Therapists actively work to advance expertise in one or more specialty areas
- Attendance at weekly Team Consult Meetings, if applicable
- Complete CEUs in areas related to the ideal client
- Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Counseling from an accredited college or university
- Licensure from the Kansas BSRB
- Participate in peer supervision
- Complete therapeutically relevant CEUs
