Vinekeeper's is looking for a Men's Ministry Coordinator to oversee lay counseling for new fathers. In addition to supervising and training the male volunteers, the Men's Coordinator will counsel men from a variety of backgrounds and beliefs, facilitate classes, promote the men's program, research and implement strategies to recruit male volunteers to participate in our mentorship program, and represent our organization at community events. The ideal candidate must be a man of integrity and someone who is able to connect with men from a variety of backgrounds. We are looking for someone who is a self-starter, posses written and oral communication skills, and who upholds life-affirming values. This part-time position requires 20 hours per week, including some evenings. The Coordinator must be a mature Christian and demonstrate a passion for the unborn children and their parents.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Director of Client Services in recruiting volunteers that can serve in the men's ministry at Vinekeeper's
  • Assist with scheduling of volunteers for men’s ministry
  • Write a monthly report for the board and Vinekeeper's
  • Research materials for the curriculum
  • Organize and facilitate Dr. Dad Classes
  • Create and work with Director of Client Services
  • Demonstrate skills in working with clients from various backgrounds
  • Attend all staff meetings and all Vinekeeper's events
  • Other duties as assigned by Executive Director and Director of Client Services

Qualifications

  • A committed Christian who demonstrates a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord
  • BA/High School Education required
  • Must exhibit strong commitment and dedication to sanctity of all human life
  • Agree with Vinekeeper's Core of Values, Statement of Faith, Policies and Procedures
  • Exhibit interpersonal communication skills, problem solving
  • Provide spiritual leadership, discipleship and direction to those under his supervision
  • He must be a team player and have the ability to carry out instructions
  • Computer literacy in MS Word, Power Point, Excel
  • Must be mission minded with experience in ministry
  • Create or work with Director of Client Services to develop procedures, chose curriculum, and design documents


Compensation
$22 - $25 hourly

Our life-affirming work includes outreach to women and their partners experiencing an unplanned pregnancy. We operate four pregnancy clinics in Dallas County with professional medical care, provide mentoring, host education programs in local schools, and more. All programs are provided at NO COST to the client.
