We are looking for an experienced Medical Biller who has worked in a mental health setting. This person will be supporting the majority of the billing needs of the practice under the direct supervision of the Administrative Director. The position is a critical part of the practice. We seek to find someone located in MI or experienced with MI mental health billing given the differences from state to state.

• Submit Claims
• Correct Claims
• Post Payments to patient accounts
• Issue statements
• Communicate with patients regarding coverage
• Performing eligibility checks
• Setting up patient payment plans

• Previous experience in medical billing, specifically in a mental health setting is highly desirable
• Understanding of mental health CPT codes and common modifiers
• Excellent organization skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Must be self-motivated and have an acute attention to detail
