We are seeking an individual who has prior experience in processing adult Medicaid and /or disability applications and is able to understand the terminology associated with legal documents while providing a first-class experience to all customers. We need someone who can effectively manage a complex caseload, able to work efficiently with DCF and facilities while guiding the client through the approval process.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing and processing Adult Medicaid and Social Security disability applications
  • Drafting of legal documents
  • Organize and maintain documents and case files
  • Prepare required verification documents to obtain approvals in a timely manner as well as monitor, review, and update process until benefits are approved
  • Responsible for working with the Social Security Administration to obtain proof of income and complete representative payee form
  • Emailing and faxing necessary documents to agencies such as Cares, Senior Resource Alliance, and DCF for the approval of the level of care critical in the adult Medicaid approval
  • Effectively educate individual and families through the Medicaid process

Qualifications

  • Ability to manage a significant caseload
  • Knowledge of adult Medicare is a MUST
  • Able to understand the terminology associated with legal documents
  • Familiarity with disability a plus
  • Discern work priorities; meet deadlines with little supervision
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Able to travel to client consultations and signings

Compensation
$37,500
