Gardner Trucking, LLC. is seeking a mechanic to work in our Truck Maintenance Shop. A great candidate will be ready and able to perform truck repair and maintenance work in accordance with industry standards, run diagnostics and work closely with the team to meet company goals.
A knowledgeable, hardworking mechanic will be able to apply their skills to succeed in a company that offers a competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package.
Must provide own tools. Newly graduated? No problem, our knowledgeable staff is willing to train.
Education and Experience: Two (2) years of industry work experience. Degree or certificate in diesel mechanics preferred, but not required.
Must have valid drivers license. Class A CDL preferred, but not required.
Physical requirements: Must be able to stand for 8+ hours and lift 50 lbs regularly and 100 lbs with assistance.
Strong Communication: Able to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and coworkers across multiple media: phone, email, radio, etc. to provide an excellent work and customer service environment.
Organization: Ability to multitask and maintain perspective on a range of ongoing processes.
Flexible: The ability to work extra hours and work at different locations as needs change with the seasonal harvest.
