An outstanding opportunity offered by Relationship Institute, Michigan's premier psychoeducational organization offering psychotherapy for singles, couples, children, and families, has openings for a seasoned psychotherapist interested in relationship issues. We have offices in Royal Oak, Northville, and Ann Arbor and have increased our intakes and sessions every year for the past 26 years. We currently have one opening for our Royal Oak office and one for our Northville location.

The ideal candidate is passionate about working with relationship issues and enjoys working in a collegial atmosphere with minimal paperwork, no meetings, and abundant referrals. Must be comfortable working with teletherapy as well as willing to work in our office for some sessions.

Please do NOT apply if you have a temporary license; this is for Psychologists, Social Workers, Counselors and MFTs with a full license.

Pay: $89,000 yearly

Responsibilities

  • Perform individual counseling
  • Perform couples/marriage counseling
  • Write progress notes

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counselor or Marriage and Family Counseling or PhD or PsyD in Psychology
  • At least two years' experience working with couples
  • A license in Michigan (not a Temporary but a full license) as a Social Worker, Psychologist, Counselor or MFT
  • Ability to work at least one evening and half a day on Saturday or Sunday

The Relationship Institute has a collegial working environment that emphasizes teamwork; minimal paperwork; opportunities for training and supervision; as well as optional outside activities with staff. We also have a superb office team of five who take calls, schedule appointments, and manage our three locations.
