Fast-growing bankruptcy law firm is hiring a part-time Marketing Manager

We help individuals and business owners remove the financial monkey from their back and open the door to a brighter future. Our law firm is growing rapidly, and we are looking to hire an experienced part-time Marketing Manager, who will help us stand out. Our marketing efforts will be challenging and interesting to an innovative candidate.

We are seeking someone to plan, develop, and implement the overall content strategy and marketing of our firm. The Marketing Manager’s primary goals are to help “make it rain” by creating the firm’s annual marketing plan that supports the firm’s business plan, budget, and targeted gross revenue, and to drive the execution of the marketing plan.

The ideal candidate is someone with the initiative to take the lead on developing marketing campaigns and seeking new opportunities for the firm. This is a part-time position that may lead to a full-time position. You MUST live in the Miami/Fort Lauderdale area, as this position will require some time in the office.       

We are looking for an “A+” player with the creative and organizational talent to help us expand our entrepreneurial business. The person we hire will bring a high level of energy, positivity, and can-do attitude to work every day. 

We are seeking someone who excels at project-based work, requires little supervision, produces great results, and is comfortable working in a team environment. The right candidate will help us build great systems and measure and track results.

The Marketing Manager position is part-time. Compensation will be commensurate with skill and experience and will be positively affected by your willingness and ability to identify opportunities and propose solutions to increase the number of clients we can serve. You will have to execute the marketing efforts you propose. A benefits package is offered.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing a comprehensive understanding of the Florida bar rules regulating advertising, and ensuring the firm’s marketing materials and efforts comply with those rules.
  • Developing marketing plans with strategies and tactics (both short and long-range) to ensure that the firm reaches or exceeds revenue targets and that match the firm’s values and vision.
  • Researching, analyzing, and monitoring market, financial, technological, and demographic factors so that opportunities may be capitalized on quickly and the possibility of competitors capturing market share is minimized.
  • Selecting and project managing outside contractors and vendors on ongoing marketing projects.
  • Achieving a satisfactory return on investment on all marketing activities.


Qualities of someone who will be successful in this position:

  • You are able to prioritize your time and activities with minimal supervision to meet deadlines and are a results-driven achiever.
  • You have the ability to understand current and future social trends.
  • You are detail-oriented with excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • You have technology skills, analytical skills, graphic design experience, SEO skills, and project management skills.

Skills and experience are required and valued, but attitude, character, personality, and integrity are also important. The ideal candidate will have a growth mindset, an ability to relate with people in crisis, and a good sense of humor. High-maintenance, humorless, or self-important individuals will not succeed in this position and should not apply.

We are less concerned with how many years of experience you have than we are with how many experiences you have gained and mastered during those years. You should have experience with WordPress, a deep understanding of all aspects of digital marketing, and experience with CRM software. A bachelor’s degree in marketing is preferred. 

$45 - $55 hourly
