The Marketing Director will develop and execute annual marketing plans and strategy for ongoing B2B events for contractor engagement designed to achieve goals and initiatives. This position will coordinate communication efforts across divisions, manage the creation of various client-facing marketing tools, and oversee the budget.

Responsibilities

General Responsibilities

  • Develops and executes the strategy of events which include large market introduction “Road Show” events, new customer events, webinars, and 3rd party sponsored events to ensure theme, content, budget, and staffing needs are met
  • Coordinate’s communication efforts across divisions (Roofing/Pavers) for marketing news
  • Manages the creation of various client-facing marketing tools including but not limited to brochures, factsheets, guides, sales materials, promotional items, collateral, samples, POP, and apparel
  • Manages assigned annual department budget, utilizing multiple agencies
  • Maintains and communicates brand strategy and brand usage guidelines across divisions and departments to ensure cohesive use
  • Develops and updates presentations for sales representatives and contractors
  • Executes monthly reporting and administrative duties as assigned by the President

Content Responsibilities

  • Coordinates, develops, and executes the content strategy, including but not limited to email marketing campaigns, co-op advertising, social media, new product launches, website, public relations, and advertisement
  • Spearheads the development and management of social media publications and ongoing content for distribution through LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and other relevant social media outlets
  • Manages video content and photography for content development, product promotion, and advertising
  • Manages vendor relationships with content marketing firms, industry publications ad reps, and editors to provide visibility for content

 Digital Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with internal stakeholders and outside vendors to manage and implement current and future digital technology projects which include customer loyalty and engagement portals, internal CRM, mobile apps, digital sales tools, and 3rd party vendor API integrations
  • Manages and updates the Atlas website & software application content 
  • Coordinates online marketing strategy, including but not limited to interactive search engine marketing, search engine optimization, and social networking

 Divisional Responsibilities

  • Spend approximately “ 65% of time working with Roofing Division and 35% with Pavers/Driveways

 

Qualifications

Experience

  • 3-5 years experience in marketing/marketing communications
  • 1 year + digital, traditional, and content marketing purchases
  • 1 year + Google Analytics/Google AdWords/Google Suite including Gmail and Google Drive with Google Sheets and Docs
  • 1 year + managing people with the ability to foster a team dynamic and clearly define roles

 Skills & Abilities

Must Haves:

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills with emphasis on analyzing critical data for marketing results
  • Resourceful to find information, synthesize it, and explain it
  • Organize language and think critically with a desire to communicate with others
  • Prepare and present information to and respond to questions from groups of managers and customers
  • Work independently and with internal and external teams and groups to accomplish a common vision and broader mission
  • Take initiative on projects and establishes goals and priorities with little to no direction 
  • Ability to commit to the highest standards of moral and legal conduct
  • Must have a strong command of language

Preferred:

  • Adobe Acrobat, Illustrator, Photoshop
  • Basic video editing skills
  • Expertise in the creation of web- and print-based copy with strong promotional writing skills and a thorough understanding of the differences of both print and electronic media
  • Experience managing content management systems for web and digital tool management

Education, Licenses, and Certification

  • A four-year degree from an accredited university is required 
  • MBA or relevant post-undergraduate work a plus

Compensation
$75,000 - $85,000 yearly DOE
