We are a successful real estate team looking for an experienced Marketing Coordinator to execute all marketing campaigns for its team.This position entails building long-term strategic initiatives that will directly impact the brand, market perception, and their lead-to-conversion results.

Your position will cover the Marketing Coordinator for a temporary leave of absence from November 2018  to March 2019. If you are stellar and you know it, this could turn into a long-term role with our team. Candidates open to both long-term and short-term are encouraged to apply.

As a Marketing Coordinator, you’ll do a little of everything. This is a hands-on, process-oriented, dynamic position where the details matter.

The nitty gritty:

Location/commute: Alexandria, Virginia. An opportunity to work from home may be available a few hours a week for the right candidate, but a majority of your time will be spent in the office. 

Candidate MUST live within a 30-minute commute of Alexandria and MUST have their own car, a valid driver’s license, and carry insurance.

Type of employment/hours: Full-time, 9:00 a.m. to 5 p.m., M-F, weekend availability is required

Compensation: $50,000/year

Benefits: E&O insurance if you hold a real estate license, lockbox, marketing materials, training and development covered.


On any given day or week, you might...

  • Manage all marketing channels and branding efforts (email marketing, company website, event marketing, internet marketing, social media; this includes some graphic design work)
  • Manage the social media this includes scheduling ads, rotating social media, and creating events on social media for open houses and client appreciation events
  • Oversee the development and strategies to ensure the company’s marketing plan is being effectively implemented
  • Develop and communicate reports to ensure that Marketing tactics and efforts are accurate and up-to-date; creating content and writing is a large part of your job! 
  • Develop PR strategies to increase the company’s market perception and awareness in the marketplace
  • Handle listing to closing process along with being the internal point of contact to ensure all marketing materials are crafted smoothly and effectively
  • Consistent communication with buyers and sellers; always staying on top of opportunities
  • Manage email blast platform list management
  • Focus on consistent and ongoing growth of email lists and contact databases
  • Events Coordination: compile a guest list, create invitations, manage RSVP process and coordinate event details including the venue

Your past experience includes:

  • 2+ years of marketing-focused experience
  • 5+ years of work experience in any industry is preferred


Ideally, you are familiar with or can easily master…

  • Adobe Creative Suite 
  • MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Social media platforms
  • CRM Programs  
  • MLS is not required but a plus
