We’re hiring a dynamic marketing communications associate to bring our plant-based brand to the next level. As a member of the marketing team, you’ll assist the senior marketing communications manager with the implementation and execution of marketing campaigns through promotional materials, creative content, advertising strategies, and influencer marketing, and social media. The ideal candidate for this position balances creativity with structure, can effectively work with a team to bring great ideas to life, and is committed to on-brand quality work. Responsibilities

INFLUENCER AND AFFILIATE MARKETING:

  • Source new influencer and affiliate talent and maintain influencer contact list on an ongoing basis
  • Maintain reactive influencer engagement
  • Create Influencer lists for launch and always-on content and needs, micro-manage budget and contracts
  • Maintain and utilize IRM tool daily
  • Support on content partnership projects
  • Manage micro-influencer requests: including, but not limited to, identifying, sourcing, and contracting talent and any additional logistics
  • Manage retailer requests as it relates to influencers
  • Help support influencer + brand (virtual or physical) events

SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING:

  • Write on-brand, mistake-free content, and communications for the brand
  • Grow social platforms; increase engagement through organic content and community management
  • Develop a fact-based understanding of the marketplace and competitive dynamics (e.g. social listening and monitor trends and brand advocacy on Agorapulse)
  • From that fact base, develop strategic recommendations to review and align with the Senior Manager of Marketing Communications
  • Working from the brand calendar, create a content calendar for relevant platforms for all social outlets 1 month in advance
  • Work with the design team to execute on-brand content needs
  • Brief creation of influencer social briefs for campaigns
  • Post daily through Agorapulse on Brand’s owned channels (FB, IG, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc)
  • Execute Community Management on FB/IG/Pinterest 
  • Maintain and utilize IRM for any and all social reporting needs
  • Monitor social platforms for organic brand mentions

OTHER DUTIES:

  • Marketing team support tasks; content organization and execution
  • Where applicable, manage, supervise and prioritize marketing intern duties
  • Vendor communication, project management 
  • Research competitive analysis; present findings to the team
  • Execute event planning, tradeshow support, tasting support
  • Research social, virtual, and in-person brand events
  • Other duties as assigned by Senior Marketing Communications Manager
  • CRM upkeep and management assistance

Qualifications
  • 2 or more years of experience in an ad agency environment or related environment

  • PRISTINE on-brand written communication skills
  • Content obsessed; monitor trends and be able to create stories from content given by internal and external sources
  • Undergraduate degree completed in mass communications, marketing, or a related field
  • 1-3 years marketing experience in agency or preferably consumer packaged goods industry
  • Must have strong communication skills
  • Interest in health and nutrition; keen eye for trends and social media
  • Must have existing familiarity with social media practices, content obsessed
  • Must be familiar with present and up and coming platform capabilities 
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • The ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Compensation
$40,000 - $45,000 yearly
