Market Support (MS) Department Overview – This department works with the Real Estate Leasing department during the review of a new location’s lease to advise on functionality and suitability based on the Sales team needs. After the lease is final, MS steps in and manages the full upfit/buildout of the new location and all tasks tied to setting the new location up for business. This includes all tasks from licensing to internet and utilities. MS manages Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment, Artwork & Signage and all services needed for each branch. MS continues to support each branch for the duration of the lease regarding required services and vendor management. At the end of the lease term, MS then decommissions all the same tasks they initiated to open the office and facilitates the Sales team’s move or relocation.  


Team Member General Responsibilities:

  • Manage 10-20 projects per month
  • Reviewing and evaluating new spaces
  • Creating floor plans using branch standards
  • Procuring quotes and approvals, both internally and externally
  • Assist with Invoicing and Payables
  • Address all incoming active branch issues
  • Vendor Management
  • Sourcing both service providers and product vendors
  • Reviewing and interpreting lease articles as required


Team Member Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent Project and Time management
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, One Drive, Excel, Smartsheet's
  • Basic AutoCAD knowledge
  • Excellent communication skills and follow-up. The ability to communicate effectively within all organizational levels, within group settings and with outside field technicians, supply vendors and contractors
  • Adaptability of process to complete tasks and produce deliverables independently with minimal supervision 
  • Ability to produce high quality planning deliverables (Project Timelines, Expense Workbooks, Space Planning and/or CAD Drawings)
  • Able to build and maintain a strong relationship with key client contacts. (Internally – various levels of Sales leadership, support staff, and other Functional contacts  / Externally – Service Providers, Supply Vendors
  • Customer service experience is a plus
  • Organizational skills are a plus
  • Desirable/Not Required - Basic Building Code Knowledge, Basic Space Design Knowledge, CAPM (Certified Assistant Project Management)
