Ideal candidates have a minimum of 8+ years of experience in family law with extensive trial experience. Skills and experience are appreciated and valued, and certainly considered, but your personality, character, intelligence, and integrity are also extremely important considerations.

There are various bonus opportunities for this position depending on performance.

• Manages legal department including all attorneys, paralegals and law clerks
• Is a go-to resource for the staff to get legal-related questions answered and will help with strategic decisions on other attorneys’ cases
• Guides clients by providing strategic direction on their cases, understanding their needs and wants, pivoting when needed, and keeping the client at the center of each matter
• Represents clients in court proceedings
• Is able to draft pleadings, conduct discovery, handle mediations and settlement conferences, pretrial hearings
• Is able to handle trials independently
• Delegates and communicate with other attorneys and paralegals to efficiently move the case forward and prevent details from falling through the cracks
• Conveys value during consultations by understanding prospective clients’ needs and how our firm can offer tangible solutions
• Lead recruiting, hiring, motivating, training, and developing senior attorneys, associate attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to help build a stronger legal team

• Licensed to practice law in Florida
• 8+ years of experience, in and out of court, with Family Law matters
• Excellent written and oral communication and organizational skills
• Preferable to have solid experience in management
