We’re looking for a hardworking maintenance technician to join our team! You’ll make sure our facilities are operating efficiently, regularly inspect our building for any damage, and conduct routine maintenance on our equipment to keep it running smoothly. Responsibilities
- Check the building for any damage to doors, windows, and walls, and make any repairs as needed
- Make records of when any equipment was services and repairs were made
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and systems such as plumbing fixtures, HVAC units, and electrical wiring to ensure optimal performance and make any repairs
- Plan and implement preventative maintenance procedures to maximize equipment operations and minimize safety risks
- Handle additional maintenance tasks as needed
- Time management, problem-solving, and leadership skills
- Ability to work under pressure and exercise good judgment
- Test, troubleshoot, and perform basic repairs on all types of equipment
- Program TVs and perform general housekeeping and engineering-related inventory duties
- To be available for any emergencies and act in an engineering capacity to protect guests and associates, and preserve the building and its systems during the emergency
- Maintain confidentiality of hotel guests and pertinent hotel information
- Maintaining pool/spa
Qualifications
- Flexible availability for on-call maintenance requests on nights and weekends
- Excellent work ethic, communication skills, time management skills, and attention to detail
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent
- 2+ years of maintenance experience
- Strong understanding of maintenance equipment, techniques and procedures
Compensation
$16 - $17.50 hourly
