Details and responsibilities for the position are below. Able to pay more for more experienced techs. Looking for a special tradesman as well for flooring and painting.

• Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and systems such as HVAC units, plumbing fixtures, and electrical wiring to make sure they’re operating efficiently and make any needed repairs
• Keep a record of completed repairs and when equipment was last serviced
• Handle additional maintenance tasks as needed
• Inspect the building for any structural damage to windows, doors, and walls and perform necessary repairs

Property maintenance is essential to every apartment community, and it is the maintenance team that carries out this vital role. Charged with preparing vacant apartments for new residents and performing routine and emergency maintenance of all kinds, Maintenance Technicians must have a working knowledge of all aspects of maintenance, repair, and service; the ability to troubleshoot problems and take appropriate action; superior customer service skills; and great attention to detail.

• Needs to have availability to respond on nights and weekends to on-call maintenance requests
• Stellar communication skills, attention to detail, and work ethic
• 2+ years of maintenance experience
• Has high school diploma, GED, or equivalent

• Must have own vehicle with current valid driver's license and current vehicle insurance
• Tools of the trade are a plus
• Two or more years of hands-on general maintenance experience including plumbing, electrical, and appliances required; experience in painting is a plus
• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred; trade school or industry designation a plus
• Valid driver's license, some weekend availability, and rotating on-call responsibility for after-hours emergencies required
