• Prepare maintenance work order and turn schedules in line with the organization’s maintenance goals and monitor compliance
• Frequently inspect properties to proactively detect potential problems and recommend the necessary repair or maintenance
• Provide support and advice during staff recruitment and ensure the proper onboarding and training process
• Communicate directly with residents and dispatch technicians to resolve service requests
• Help with the development of maintenance procedures and proactive maintenance programs like preventative maintenance
• Hire and train new members of the maintenance team
• Help out with day-to-day equipment maintenance work when needed
• Provide accurate reporting on outstanding projects, turns, and work orders
• Occasionally inspect the quality of performed maintenance work
• Work closely with vendors, outsourced service providers, and contractors to protect the interests of the business

• 3 years experience in Maintenance Supervisor role required
• Universal EPA Certification required
• Treats all people with respect
• Strong focus on resident satisfaction and retention
• Knowledge and experience with HVAC service and repair
• Must pass the Augusta Rental Homes Maintenance Competency Test
• State drivers license and a working vehicle with proof of insurance
• Strong desire to accomplish goals and work with a team
